Leonard Cohen’s Sister Esther Cohen is a Fan of Conspiracy of Beards! #throwbackthursday

Conspiracy of Beards has traveled to New York City annually for the last 6 years for a show at the Highline Ballroom, and every year Esther Cohen, Leonard Cohen‘s sister, and her friends have come to our performance. Esther is one of the sweetest and most supportive fans of the choir. This year the choir decided to focus on touring the greater Bay Area and to skip the NY trip. Our only regret is not being able to serenade our friend Esther. Here is a short clip of Esther from our documentary project “A Midnight Choir.”

The Conspiracy Takes Manhattan Inn

Last spring 28 Beards flew to New York for a one weekend whirlwind tour, and it turned out to be a huge success and an inordinate amount of fun. This video, the latest in a series, captures a glimpse of the good times we had wandering the streets, singing on the subway, and taking the Manhattan Inn at midnight.
