Leonard Cohen Love Fest at Mechanics’ Institute Library and Chess Room with Conspiracy of Beards and Sylvie Simmons.

If you’ve never been to The Mechanics’ Institute Library and Chess Room, this is your chance! It is an amazing building at 57 Post St. built in 1909, and it houses one on the most beautiful circular iron stairways in San Francisco.

Sylvie Simmons, author of the 2012 biography, I’m Your Man: The Life of Leonard Cohen by Sylvie Simmons, will open the evening with a reading and a couple Leonard Cohen songs on her ukelele.

Conspiracy of Beards will follow with the songs of Leonard Cohen arranged in 4 and 5 part a cappella harmony.

The Mechanic’s Institute Cafe will be open at 6:30pm prior to the show. Come early, have a drink, and grab a good seat. Space is limited.
