Big City Trees will be making their debut to open the evening. \nCONSPIRACY OF BEARDS\nConspiracy of Beards is a midnight choir that sings the songs of Leonard Cohen. \nMONDAY PARTIES\nMonday Parties is Gabby Lala and Lila Nelson\, both songwriters and musicians in their own right\, who met on the 4th of July when they bumped bellies at a party in Oakland CA. 9 years later\, they still bump into each other\, but now it’s on purpose and they are usually eating noodles with their kids (who are also BFFs). The joy of finding a friend who also answers the dulcet and rapturous beckoning of the musical unknown and also walks the path of motherhood is unparalleled. Gabby and Lila share such a connection and when the stars align\, they allow their friendship to spill over into the creative realm. \nGabby La La is a musician and songwriter who studied Sitar and Voice under Maestro Ali Akbar Khan for over 10 years. She earned a BFA in Sitar Performance from The California Institute of the Arts in 2001 and has since performed and recorded internationally both under her own name and with notable artists including Les Claypool\, P Funk\, Bernie Worrell\, Prince Paul\, Macy Gray\, Snoop Dogg\, and The Coup. La La’s ASMR video\, “Candy Sandwich” was recently named “Funniest Video” at SPLIFF Film Festival (2019 ASMR Crafting with Sayuri and Gabby La La). \nSinger and songwriter Lila Nelson has toured internationally\, playing with artists including Ben Folds and Richie Havens.
