Celebrating 50+ years of virtuosic, exuberant, and fearless dance.
April 7-10 features the world premiere of No Alibi, choreographed by Amy Seiwert, with music by Leonard Cohen.
In No Alibi, Seiwert’s exploration of Leonard Cohen’s art centers his words, weaving Cohen’s classic recordings with covers from Roberta Flack, Nina Simone, and Joe Cocker.
Tracks include Cohen classics such as Suzanne (Recording by Nina Simone), Famous Blue Raincoat, and Dance Me to the End of Love.
Arrive early! The Friday, April 8 performance will feature the a cappella male choir, the Conspiracy of Beards performing the songs of Leonard Cohen outside of the theater before the 7:30pm show begins.
